If you are looking for help to bring your home remodeling project to completion, Design Works (Sarasota) offers an in-house Project Manager. In this position, they will help you to design, execute and implement your entire project – helping you identify all the moving parts and people necessary to complete your project.

Gaining inspiration from other home improvement projects is a great first step. Use websites, magazines, TV shows or any other inspiring pieces to narrow down your style, color palette, aesthetics, and layout.

Decide what you are willing to invest in your project and give yourself a range. As you receive product quotes, you can work within or outside that range, determining the must-haves vs. the niceties. Also, be sure to budget for the unexpected, like repairs or replacements.

To start a basic design, take pictures, draw a rough sketch of the current layout and jot down some simple measurements. Your hired contractor will visit your home to take precise measurements and discuss layout options.

We will introduce you to the Design Works showroom and fabrication team to select your cabinetry, tile, flooring, and countertops.

Design Works is the exclusive local partner to some of the most coveted tile, stone and cabinetry brands on the market today. Once you've selected your perfect products, our team sources and purchases the materials.

For the next few weeks (or possibly months depending on the size of your project), work will be ongoing. Having a contractor or project manager there every step of the way will help ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
