Countertops
Countertops are one of the most worked surfaces in any project. They deal with heat, moisture, impact, UV exposure, and daily use, all while anchoring the design of the space.
At Florida Design Works, countertops are treated as a technical component, not just a finish.
We work with natural stone and engineered surfaces that are built to last, fabricated with precision, and installed by teams who understand how these materials behave in real-world conditions.

Available Across Florida Design Works Locations
Countertop capabilities vary by showroom, but all locations support kitchen projects.
Our Sarasota location focuses on natural stone, quartz, and solid surface countertops, with a full granite shop and in-house fabrication. This showroom is well suited for custom residential work and higher-end projects where precision and material control matter.
It’s also where many homeowners explore coastal granite countertops, a popular choice for clients seeking durability, natural beauty, and a style that complements Florida’s coastal architecture.
In Naples, we support projects that require natural stone, quartz, and solid surface countertops, with an emphasis on coordination and sourcing. This location works well for teams that need help aligning materials, fabrication, and execution without overcomplicating the process.
The Fort Myers showroom is tile-forward but offers strong cabinet and countertop services as part of a larger package. Natural stone, quartz, and solid surface options are available, making this location a good fit for integrated kitchen and surface projects.
Jacksonville operates as a full granite shop with in-house fabrication and a strong focus on natural stone and quartz. As a Cambria premier quartz dealer, this location is especially well suited for larger projects, repeat work, and jobs that require consistency at scale.
Built for Real Use, Indoors and Out
Our countertop solutions are designed for kitchens, baths, and outdoor living spaces where durability matters.
Granite Countertops
Granite remains one of the most trusted choices for high traffic spaces. Each slab is unique, naturally heat resistant, and built to last. Finish options include polished, honed, and leathered.
Best for:
Busy kitchens
Luxury bathrooms
Outdoor kitchens when sealed properly
For homeowners near the water, coastal granite countertops offer the perfect blend of resilience and organic texture, pairing beautifully with light, airy interiors.
Quartz Countertops
If low maintenance is a priority, quartz is often the answer. Made from natural quartz combined with resins, it’s non porous, durable, and easy to care for.
We offer leading quartz brands including:
Cambria
Caesarstone
Pompeii
Silestone
VEON
If you’re searching for Caesarstone countertops near me or asking who sells quartz countertops in my area, our team can walk you through color options, edge profiles, and performance differences without overwhelming the process.
Quartzite Countertops
Quartzite gives you the natural stone look designers crave, paired with the toughness builders demand. It offers the beauty of marble with added durability. It’s harder than granite and holds up well in high end kitchens.
Best for:
Luxury kitchens
Clients who love a natural stone look with extra strength
Because of its density and UV resistance, quartzite can also be a strong option for certain outdoor kitchen applications when properly sealed and maintained.
Porcelain and other weather-resistant surfaces
Porcelain and other weather-resistant surfaces are built to handle heat, moisture, and UV exposure without breaking down over time. They’re a strong option for outdoor kitchens, pool areas, and high-use spaces where durability matters as much as appearance. These materials resist staining, fading, and temperature swings, making them reliable for both residential and commercial outdoor applications.
Countertops That Suit Your Design
According to the National Kitchen & Bath Association, countertops are among the top three most frequently replaced features in a remodel, with over 90% of homeowners upgrading their surfaces during kitchen renovations.

Quartz
Quartz and solid surface are engineered for that steady, predictable performance. They’re non-porous and super low-maintenance, with consistent patterns every time. They fit right into busy homes or commercial spots without a hitch.
Natural Stone
Granite’s that trusty workhorse material. It just keeps on performing, no matter what. It’s extremely durable and heat-resistant, with all that beautiful natural variation. You can count on it for high-use kitchens and commercial spaces where reliability really shines.
Luxury Wood
Luxury wood countertops add warmth and character that stone can’t replicate. Crafted from premium hardwoods and finished for durability, they work well in statement kitchens, islands, and specialty spaces. When properly fabricated and sealed, wood surfaces bring a natural, architectural feel.
Coastal Granite Countertops: Built for Florida Living
Coastal granite countertops are increasingly popular across Sarasota, Naples, Jacksonville, and other shoreline communities. Granite’s natural density, heat resistance, and ability to withstand humidity make it ideal for homes exposed to salt air, bright sunlight, and heavy daily use.
Our team helps you select slabs that complement coastal design, from soft, sandy neutrals to dramatic ocean‑inspired veining, ensuring your countertops look stunning and perform beautifully for years.
